Pavtube Video to iPod Converter is a video converter. Although it allows you to convert video files for playback on iPod devices, it also supports a number of other formats that nothing have to do with the Apple iPod. For example, the application can convert files into M4V, MKV, MOV, 3GP, 3G2, MP4, MPG, ASF, WMV and AVI. And only some of those can be played on the iPod. Thus, you can use this app to convert files for other devices or simply to convert your video files to other formats for playback on your computer. My point is that if you own another converter by Pavtube which supports MP4 or H.264, you don't need to pay an extra $29 for this one.
In terms of performance, this converter works very well, like all the other Pavtube converters I have recently tried. It produces good quality files and it is on par with other converters in terms of speed.
Pavtube Video to iPod Converter has a very nice video editor that allows you to add effects and enhance the image of your videos, to add watermarks and to crop and trim your videos.
All in all, this isn't a bad converter, but for almost the same money, you can get a more "multiple purpose" from Pavtube, for example, among the other available paid and free alternatives.
